Licasa is an open-source image viewer and editor for the Linux desktop, built to bring back the Picasa experience on Ubuntu 24.04, Fedora, Arch, and AppImage. It opens JPEG, PNG, TIFF, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, JPEG XL, AVIF, JPEG 2000, and RAW previews in image-sized fullscreen or floating windows, plays Motion Photos and animated APNG, and supports cropping, adjustments, and export. The project is independent and not affiliated with Google.
