Samsung's TV Runs a TensorFlow Lite Model Every Few Seconds to Guess What Game You're Playing
Samsung running a TensorFlow lite model on 960x540 image to track you
A researcher dug into Samsung's Tizen TV software and found a TensorFlow Lite build of AlexNet, saved as "alex.tflite", scanning 960×540 frames with INT8 quantization every couple of seconds to identify the game on screen. It compares features against a database by nearest neighbor and, by his account, fails about 99% of the time. Results are dumped before the consent gate even appears, so the CPU burns cycles for nothing.
It's literally called "alex.tflite" and it's literally AlexNet and seems to follow torchvision.models.alexnet.
