Jepsen test finds Orkes Conductor can silently drop or falsely complete workflows
Jepsen: Orkes Conductor 5.3.2
Jepsen tested Orkes Conductor versions 5.3.2 through 5.5.0-rc2 and uncovered three serious safety bugs: workflows permanently abandoned, forgotten, or marked completed even though their tasks never ran. They also found tasks executing concurrently more often than expected, a delay-causing bug, and four minor startWorkflow issues. Orkes patched the serious flaws in 5.5.6 and reduced concurrent execution, though two startWorkflow errors remain under investigation.
Three serious problems caused Conductor to permanently abandon or forget workflow executions, or to mark them completed even though their tasks were never run.
