Wine Lands on OpenBSD, and The Witcher 3 Remaster Runs Well

Wine Ported to OpenBSD

Thomas Frohwein proposes a Wine port for OpenBSD, made possible by Andrii's workaround for the %gs base issue. Andrii and Fabien did most of the heavy lifting. Interest has grown because much Windows software is now 64-bit, and dozens of 64-bit programs were tested, mostly successfully, including The Witcher 3 Remaster with vkd3d-proton. WoW64 still doesn't work, so 32-bit software remains unsupported, and builtin tests are disabled for now.

In what might the most surprising port proposal of the year, I'm proud to present a new port for wine.
