Mason continues his project to mod a Kmart digicam for C-mount lenses. The $20 lens he bought on eBay turned out to be a super 8 projector lens with a 32mm thread, forcing a complete redesign of the adapter. The lens fits and focuses light, but it won't reach infinity focus. He's now considering physically moving the sensor closer to the lens, as paper shims didn't help.
The only problem is that it is already pressed as closed as it can go up against the existing chassis of the digicam.
