indexable-inc의 ra-jit은 rust-analyzer 위에 올린 Rust 컴파일러 데몬이다. 증분 cargo 빌드를 빠르게 처리할 뿐 아니라, 실행 중인 프로그램에 코드 수정을 실시간으로 반영하는 라이브 편집까지 지원한다. Cranelift 기반으로 동작하며 nix run으로 바로 체험할 수 있고, rustd에서 출발해 rust-analyzer 포크와 rustc 형태의 MIR을 갖추는 방향으로 발전했다.
The daemon wakes the program on a datagram socket next to the patch instead of the program polling every 30 ms, and Live::apply_as_they_come applies each patch on that thread.
