オハイオ州博覧会のポスターコンテストで、AI生成作品が優勝したことが話題となっている。主催者は2024年のコンテスト開始時にはAI使用を許可していたが、その後のAI技術の急速な進歩を受け、2027年からはAI使用を禁止する方針を発表した。今年のコンテストでは、アメリカ建国250周年を記念した愛国的テーマが求められ、38作品が応募された。優勝者には1,000ドルの賞金とリボンが贈られ、作品は博覧会で展示される。
When the poster contest was originally formed in 2024, the use of AI was permitted if explained as a part of the application process. However, we recognize that the use of AI has changed greatly over the last few years in ways we didn’t anticipate, and will be reevaluating the rules and processes for 2027, which will include prohibiting the use of AI.
