AI Revives the Hackintosh as macOS 27 Runs on Snapdragon and Nintendo Switch
The Hackintosh Reborn

After Apple dropped x86 support in macOS 27, the Hackintosh community seemed finished. Instead, AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and Ghidra have fueled a sudden explosion of porting efforts: macOS 27 on a Snapdragon laptop, macOS 27.2 beta on an ARM RK3588 board, iOS 17 on a Nintendo Switch OLED, and 50-series Nvidia GPU support. As much as we lament the cost of AI, there are some glimmers of hope: you just might be able to have your hardware and own it too.
