Altera Announces Agilex 2X, a Complete FPGA and SoC Portfolio
Altera has unveiled Agilex 2X, an FPGA and SoC portfolio spanning four families from high-bandwidth datapath processing down to I/O-centric control. Agilex 27, the first to launch, builds on the HyperFlex fabric with a distributed HyperFlow data network, transceivers up to 256 Gbps, hardened 800GbE and 1.6TbE Ethernet, PCIe 6.0/7.0, and post-quantum-ready secure boot. Quartus Prime support opens to early access customers in mid-November, with engineering samples expected in the second half of 2027.
