Kino AI lets five agents edit the same video timeline at once
Launch HN: Kino AI (YC S23) – AI media manager and video editor
Luke from Kino introduces a code-first video editor where every project, clip, comment, and even a single frame has a URL, so agents like Codex and Claude Code can edit alongside your teammates in real time. Built on Remotion with custom decoders for ProRes, BRAW, and R3D, it handles a 250GB iPhone clip without choking. The editor is free; Pro runs $25 per editor per month.
For our launch video I had 5+ agents editing the timeline concurrently while my friend Donald had his swarm working a few minutes further down.
