Somebody please stop the spam texts

A former Texas resident now gets dozens of political and marketing spam texts a month, even though he never signed up. Reporting them as spam in Apple Messages does nothing, and replying STOP feels like conceding that strangers have the right to text him first. He argues Apple Intelligence should learn from reported spam and filter similar messages automatically.
