Open Sound Connect – Control Sony Headphones from Your Mac
A $9.99 Mac app that controls Sony's 1000X headphone family — from the MDR-1000X through the WH-1000XM6 — without a phone or Sony account. It handles noise canceling, ambient sound, equalizer, and DSEE settings, and lets you save configurations as scenes that apply on a schedule, when headphones connect, or when an app opens. Scenes and preferences stay local, there are no analytics, and the source is on GitHub under the MIT License.
Noise control, the equalizer and the other headphone settings live in the headphones themselves, so they stay as you left them when you switch to your phone.
