Google Search Falls Below Half of Alphabet's Revenue for the First Time
For the first time ever, Google Search is less than 50% of Alphabet's revenue
In the quarter ending September 2026, Google Search brought in $63.4B of Alphabet's $128B revenue — 49.7%, the first time it has dropped below half since Alphabet began reporting Search separately. Search still grew 12% year over year; its share shrank because Google Cloud more than doubled to $30.7B, rising from 4.4% of revenue in 2018 to 24.1% today.
Search revenue still grew: the share fell because the rest of Alphabet grew faster.
