DuckDB 2.0.0 LTS "Cinnamon Teal"
DuckDB 2.0.0 LTS, codenamed "Cinnamon Teal," is the project's biggest feature release yet, built from nearly 20,000 commits. It ships a polished Quack protocol for client-server use, asynchronous I/O for faster object-storage queries, a fully integrated VARIANT type, agent mode for coding agents, triggers, and a new extensible PEG-based SQL parser. The release is supported until at least October 2027, with migration notes for breaking changes.
