Drupal's biggest problem isn't its code — it's that nobody knows how good it's become
Drupal is now light-years ahead of its reputation

At DrupalCon Rotterdam, Dries Buytaert argued that Drupal now far outpaces its reputation. Drupal CMS bundles Site Templates, Recipes, AI, and the Canvas page builder; Canvas gained multilingual support and a headless mode for Next.js, Astro, and Nuxt front-ends. A new Tool API turns existing PHP methods into AI-callable tools with a few attributes, replacing roughly 1,000 lines of integration code. To close the reputation gap, the Drupal Association launched an Advocacy Program that rewards outreach with contribution credit.
Drupal doesn't need hype, but we do need a better public record.
