Ukraine carries out first ever aerial drone evacuation of a wounded soldier
A soldier callsign Kostya, wounded and alone on the Kharkiv front, was surrounded by Russian kamikaze drones with the ground heavily mined. With no safe route out, the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade strapped him to the underbelly of a modified Heavy Shot bomber drone, which lifted the 80kg man and carried him 18km to safety, flanked by FPV drones and net-armed quadcopters. The manufacturer, Gurzuf Defence, donated the aircraft.
This is a historic event; it marks the next stage in the evacuation of the wounded, which we will all eventually reach.
