Penguin Mail – open-source Rust email client for Linux with AI

Penguin Mail brings Gmail, AI, and OpenPGP to Linux as a native Rust app

Penguin Mail is a new open-source email client for Linux, written in Rust and released under GPL-3.0. It unifies Gmail, Microsoft, IMAP, POP3, and CalDAV accounts into one fast desktop app with calendar, contacts, OpenPGP/S/MIME, and Sieve rules. An optional local AI assistant can answer questions about your mail and runs through LM Studio or Ollama. No servers, no tracking, no ads — your mail stays on your computer.

Penguin Mail has no server of its own, no tracking and no ads.
