OpenAI's Decisions API returns typed answers 10x faster than the Responses API
Decisions API is in public beta

OpenAI has launched the Decisions API in public beta, a dedicated endpoint that evaluates text, images, or both and returns typed answers about 10x faster than the Responses API. It supports three question types: predicate (probability a condition is true), choice (one option from a fixed set), and score (probability-weighted average against ordered levels). Powered by gpt-6-luna, it costs $0.10 per 1M input tokens with no output charges, and supports Zero Data Retention and HIPAA for eligible customers.
