The setup offers modern features like FLAC support, scrobbling, and Bluetooth, plus a headphone jack, while avoiding the inflated prices of retro iPods. Files are sourced via Soulseek and tagged with Beets, though syncing is manual due to Syncthing crashes. The result: a distraction-free, battery-saving music device that also keeps e-waste out of landfills.
