Das GitHub-Repository hashicorp/boundary ist seit dem 9. Oktober 2026 archiviert und nur noch lesbar. HashiCorp stellt damit die Community Edition von Boundary ein und konzentriert die Weiterentwicklung auf HCP Boundary und Boundary Enterprise. Das Projekt, das identitätsbasierte Zugriffsverwaltung für dynamische Infrastruktur bot, kam auf 4.100 Stars und 316 Forks; künftige Updates für die Boundary CE wird es nicht mehr geben.
