The $8 Ox64 runs Linux on three RISC-V cores — if you can get it to boot

Pine64's $8 Ox64 is a RISC-V single-board computer with three different cores, and it can run real Linux rather than a stripped-down kernel without an MMU. Getting there is another matter: at launch, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and the SD card slot don't work, and flashing requires UART wiring, a workaround for Dev Cube crashing on Wayland, an RP2040 as a serial bridge, and a patched bflb-mcu-tool. The author gets the M0 core talking to a PC and promises a part two.

It looks like a microcontroller, but behaves like a UNIX machine.
