Trump's Military Triumphal Arch Would Hide Sniper Nests and Munitions Inside Its Columns

A foundation chaired by Randy Evans is promoting a triumphal arch at Memorial Circle near Arlington National Cemetery, reviving a century-old plan for columns that stalled during the Great Depression. Beyond the ceremonial framing, the proposal describes a highly secretive military structure: munitions storage inside the two massive columns, sniper and countersniper positions on the pedestal and observation deck, and ground designed for launching drones. Trump calls it the greatest triumphal arch anywhere in the world.
