OpenAI is partnering with security startup Hacktron, whose AI agents for code review, penetration testing, and red teaming impressed the company through its bug bounty program. The two teams will jointly probe high-priority areas, especially how OpenAI's systems interact with third-party services, and Hacktron gets expanded access to OpenAI's frontier models via Daybreak Red. The move follows a new security sprint with Cathedral's researchers and higher bug bounty rewards.
