Replit Pro users have until November 8 to opt out of forced arbitration
If you're on Replit Pro, you have until November 8 to opt out of arbitration

A new Replit Pro Agreement took effect October 9, 2026, adding mandatory arbitration and a class-action waiver that the old terms never had. Opting out requires written notice to Replit within 30 days, which puts the deadline at November 8 for existing Pro customers. The September email announcing the change mentioned the 30-day window but gave neither the date nor the address. The notice walks through the required details, a paste-ready template, and a separate setting that quietly enabled model training on user content by default.
To opt out, Customer must notify Replit within thirty (30) days after first becoming subject to this arbitration agreement.

You should seriously take your business somewhere else. Vibe-coding is the norm now and Replit does not add any meaningful value anymore.

Author here. Short version: Replit's new Pro terms (in effect since Oct 9) send any dispute with them to private arbitration instead of court and rule out class actions. You can opt out with one email to [email protected], but only until Nov 8. The post has what to put in it.
Context on me: we found the Model Improvement setting switched on in our team's accounts late on Oct 22. Nobody on our team turned it on, and Replit has since told us in writing that while it was on, our data "would be eligible to be collected." That's our company's prompts and code. We've been trying to get a straight answer about what actually happened to it since, and that's still going, so I'm not neutral on it. This post is only the deadline and the steps, though, because Nov 8 is close and most people I've told hadn't heard about it.
Curious if anyone else checked theirs and what you found.
