Conductor Is Joining Meta
Conductor, the coding-agent tool launched in July 2025, is being acquired by Meta. New sign-ups are already closed, and Conductor Cloud goes read-only on November 13 before shutting down and deleting user data on November 20; workspaces can be exported to local. The local app keeps getting new models and critical bug fixes until early 2027, and the team promises a new interface early next year.
We launched Conductor a lifetime ago, in the distant past of July 2025. Writing most of your code with agents (let alone a team of coding agents) felt crazy back then.
