Xbox 360 Hypervisor Hack Now Runs Almost Instantly With Near-100% Success
Hacking the Xbox 360 Hypervisor Part 3: Bad Update Improvements

After releasing the Bad Update proof-of-concept, the author watched it evolve from a ~20-minute, ~30%-success exploit into a near-instant, near-100% one. A Rock Band Blitz demo save entry point removed the need for a game disc, while a precomputed ciphertext hash table, a smarter cache-flushing primitive, and better thread scheduling shrank the hypervisor race condition to seconds.
What I should have probably done (aside from investigate the lookup table issues when they surfaced) was to put this project down for a few weeks and come back with a clear mindset.
