Democrats won control of the House with roughly 244 seats, their largest majority in nearly two decades, in what NBC News calls a stunning rebuke to President Trump over his immigration crackdown, the Iran war, and tariffs. Hakeem Jeffries is set to become the first Black speaker, and Democrats plan aggressive oversight, subpoena power, and possibly a third impeachment. The Senate remains undecided.
I wouldn't characterize it as investigating them like crazy. We're going to follow the facts, apply the law, be guided by the Constitution, and let the chips fall where they may.
