A/SIDE builds a private social network with no ads, no AI, and no algorithm
A/SIDE – Private photo sharing and encrypted messages
A/SIDE is a private social app where you only see posts from people you've mutually approved, shown in reverse chronological order. It has no ads, no AI training, and no algorithmic feed. Direct and group messages are end-to-end encrypted, while feed posts are stored on A/SIDE's servers. The app and server code are open source, and the core infrastructure runs on an independent provider outside AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Free access covers 30 days of history; Pro is $20/year and Pro Family is $60/year for up to six people.
Your friends' posts in the order they happened. No 'suggested for you,' no 'you might like.' Just the people you said yes to.

This is mental you mean you keep hold of my photos and messages and I can only see them if I pay a subscription?

Nice app. The hump of network effects is real but I hope someone can figure this out and liberate the masses from the scrolling.
