Patrick Stewart, who made Captain Picard a legend, dies at 86
Patrick Stewart has died
Patrick Stewart, the Shakespearean actor who found global fame in middle age as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, died Wednesday at his Los Angeles home at 86. The cause was Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body dementia. He also played Professor X in five X-Men films and returned to Picard in a 2020 sequel series. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Ozell, and his children, Daniel and Sophie.
I knew exactly when to insert a small body between the fist and her face, a skill no child should ever have to learn.
