Hackers Leak Identities of 40,000 DHS Agents, Including Undercover Operatives
Hackers expose the identities of more than 40k DHS employees
A hacktivist group called the Department of Peace cracked DHS's single sign-on system and posted the names, phone numbers, and addresses of more than 40,000 agents, operatives, and associates — including people in undercover work. The data, shared with Distributed Denial of Secrets and published in a searchable database called Icepick, covers roughly a fifth of the department's workforce, with over 21,000 records tied to Customs and Border Protection and 10,000 to ICE and Homeland Security Investigations.
