Leak Exposes 41,000 Homeland Security Workers–Including Undercover ICE Agents
A massive leak of Department of Homeland Security records has exposed details on more than 41,000 employees and contractors, including the identities of undercover ICE agents. The archive, dubbed "Icepick" and published by Distributed Denial of Secrets, reportedly comes from DHS's Okta login system and maps out internal permission groups tied to wiretap programs, Palantir's Falcon platform, and xAI's Grok. Okta says it has found no evidence of a breach. The data covers roughly a seventh of DHS's workforce.
If they weren't hiding their involvement in the repressive arm of the US government there would be no need for us to expose them in the first place.

It'd be a shame if people started checking potential hires, tenants, dates, and business transactions against this info, cutting off ICE from large segments of the economy and society. I bet they'd feel really dehumanized.

I approve. The problem isn’t surveillance, the problem is that everybody doesn’t have access to the data :D

In a note with the files, the hackers wrote, “They have our information, so it's only fair that we have theirs.”
I mean, they’re not wrong…
