Pell Puzzles Review

Pell Puzzles turns a spiral of squares into a daily logic puzzle

Brandan, the writer behind the achromath Substack, built a daily puzzle out of his Pell Tiles idea: a 6x6 grid of X's and O's where you draw eight paths of lengths 1 through 8, each connecting two clues, until all 36 cells are filled. No ads, no account, timer starts the moment you tap. The reviewer solves it purely by deduction and calls the length constraint the game's sharpest tool.

That's the whole trick of this game, and it feels great every time it clicks.

    The game is here: https://pell.achromath.com

I'd update the HN submission url to the actual source, i.e. either the above game url, or its "how to play" section at https://pell.achromath.com/how-to-play .

Currently the submission points to a third party review of the game - IMO it seems more appropriate as a comment.

So... how long before this gets added to Simon Tatham's puzzle collection? (https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/)

Why do incomplete paths light up the corresponding number? I don't understand this UI choice.
