Microsoft's Flint lets AI agents build interactive charts from short, human-editable specs
Creating interactive data visualization with Flint-interactive

Flint is a visualization intermediate language from Microsoft that splits chart design into separate visual, style, and interaction specs, which a compiler then composes into a complete backend-native chart. It covers 52 chart types across 5 rendering backends, 14 themes, and 23 interaction presets, and works as an MCP server for agents like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, or as an npm library for apps.
The key design is to disentangle the visual, style and interaction logic that low-level chart libraries mix together: you or your agents describe each in a short semantic spec, and the compiler composes them.
