JetBrains' incubator project ThinkRail is an agentic IDE built around the pi coding agent. Each chat runs in an isolated git worktree workspace, so agents work in parallel without touching your checkout. A graph of SPEC.md files gives the agent durable project knowledge, and portable Agent Skills plus bundled workflows handle setup, design brainstorming, and shipping pull requests. It ships as a native desktop app or a CLI that opens the same UI in your browser, with no accounts of its own.
