Argus: A free, open-source security platform built to fight AI-speed attackers
Argus – a free, open-source agentic security operations platform – MIT

Argus is a self-hosted, MIT-licensed security operations platform that watches cloud, identity, code and devices around the clock. It detects AI-driven attacks like agent swarms and machine-speed recon, then responds in seconds through a broker with approvals, dry runs, automatic rollback and a kill switch. It also governs shadow AI via a gateway and includes an attack simulator and autonomous pentesting, all with no license fees or seats.
Most security tools were built for attackers who sleep. Argus was built for the ones that don't.

I looked at this because I thought it was something MIT released after years of study.
Seems like it's just a thing a person vibe coded yesterday.
Still perhaps cool, but very different than what I was looking for. :)

Account made 6 days ago. Only submission and comment is this. Then there's another account that had already linked to this domain posting in this thread. I suspect HN is not keeping up with bot detection.
