Virginia Beach Museum Keeps World War I and II Warbirds Flying, Not Just Displayed
World Wars I and II Military Aviation Museum Collection

The Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach maintains a collection of World War I and World War II aircraft restored to flying condition. Its oldest planes, including restored originals and replicas built to original specifications, capture the birth of air combat, while the WWII fleet features combat veterans, battlefield recoveries, and airframes flown continuously since the war ended. Many aircraft are cared for by the museum's own Fighter Factory restoration team.
Restored to wartime configuration and flying condition, our WWII aircraft are the heart of the collection.
