Sigma's FP2 Packs a 6K Open Gate Sensor Into a Pocket-Sized Brick
Sigma Says the Compact, Modular FP2 Is the Ultimate Hybrid Camera
Sigma's FP2 keeps the original fp's ultra-compact, modular body but swaps in a faster 24.5MP partially stacked full-frame sensor, enabling 6K Open Gate recording at up to 60p and 20fps RAW stills. It gains a tilting screen, dual USB-C ports, and optional EVF-21 viewfinder, though there's still no IBIS or mechanical shutter. Ships November 11 for $2,199 body-only, or $2,749 with the EVF.
You can strip it down to a bare, pocketable-street-photography box adapted with vintage glass for a unique look. Or build it up into a heavy-duty production rig with cine lenses, matte boxes, and wireless monitors.
