Arc browser shuts down December 22, 2026, as team shifts to Dia

Arc Is Sunsetting

The Browser Company is sunsetting Arc on December 22, 2026, citing the need for constant security work in the AI era. New accounts stopped October 22; mobile AI features end November 23; macOS and Windows apps stop working and accounts are deactivated on December 22, with data deleted within 30 days. Users can import passwords, tabs, Spaces, and extensions into Dia, the team's new browser.
