A Figma bug traced back to a 1977 IBM keyboard decision

A user reported that Shift+2 worked on the main keyboard but not the numeric keypad, and only on Windows. Marcin Wichary follows the thread back to IBM's 5251 keyboard, the 1981 IBM PC's Num Lock, and the Shift shortcut meant to reverse it—a convention that survived from MS-DOS through every version of Windows. The Mac never had the problem because its arrow keys and keypad were separate from the start.

Even though you could argue it was never a bug – just an older, barely documented convention.
