Buford Taylor - Personal site and portfolio of a serial founder and author
Show HN: I told people I'm a convicted felon after 20 years of hiding it
Buford Taylor's personal site is a candid, data-rich portfolio of a serial founder who has started or joined 17 companies since 2007—including Eventbrite, Reforge, and Casting Call Club—and written three novels. It features a full company history with outcomes, essays on hiring and startups, and chapters from upcoming books like Sol Truckers and his autobiography Buford versus Oklahoma. The site also shares his philosophy on writing: no AI in prose, but AI for code. It's a transparent look at a career spanning successes, failures, and creative work.
From felony to seven figures. This book details clawing my way out of the worst mistake of my life and going to prison at nineteen years old. It also covers building billion-dollar companies.
