Anonymous archivists dump half a million AfD documents as a 281 GB BitTorrent torrent
Germany's far-right AfD: half a million internal documents leaked
An out-of-pocket public-interest archive called hexane.cc has published what it says are internal records from Germany's far-right AfD: 421,000 emails, 49,000 documents, 165 databases and 39,000 attachments, each entry classified by severity and deduplicated so it can be searched and cited. The full 281 GB corpus is distributed hash-verified over BitTorrent in two variants, with no ads, tracking or sponsors, and the maintainers ask readers to keep seeding.
Severity reflects the substance of the content itself, not the prominence of any person named in it.

Wondering why this was flagged--seems of public interest. Is it not authentic? (@dang)

Cloudflare now shows the blocker warning:
Warning
Suspected Phishing
This website has been reported for potential phishing.
So either that site is a bit shady (that I didn't notice) or people have been actively at work to paint is as shady.
But then I often see this for any source:

And the top also shows this
SUPPORT THIS ARCHIVE — MONERO
<and probbaly a monero address>
So can't really say.
So I think [flagged] for this source/post is rightly served, one way or the other.

Hacking political organizations you disagree with is still a crime.

Are they forbidden from titling this German AfD document leak or something? Why non-specific mentions of what this is on the About page etc?

Imagine going back in time to tell Hitler that, in 80 years, the German far-right would be led by a publicly pro-Jewish lesbian. Hell… maybe someone did, and that’s why he shot himself.
