Tiny Brutalism, a game born on Hacker News, lands on Steam

Jimjum Studios' Tiny Brutalism is a relaxing diorama sandbox builder inspired by brutalist architecture. Stack concrete towers, impossible structures, or a really big wall from 20+ procedurally generated building blocks, then drop into first-person mode to walk through your creation. A day/night cycle and summonable rain and fog let you control the atmosphere. There's no goal and no right way to build — just craft your own brutalist utopia.

I had a hard time applying for steam with a new profile. I ended up annoyed and asked for a refund. I think steam officially got too big and the AI influx made things impossible for them to actually handle.

Oh, that's cute. It's like Tiny Glade from hell.

Those games are interesting studies because of the user interface. It's a 3D creation system where the interface is incredibly helpful and creation is fluid. You don't have to line up vertices or objects. It mostly does the right thing for you.

Archimatrix was perhaps the ancestor of those games.
