Things To Do API - Natural language events search for AI agents
Things To Do API is a fast, accurate, localized events API built for agentic applications, serving as a knowledge base for shows, talks, pop-ups, markets, festivals, and more. Developers can query it in plain words—just like asking a friend—and get back structured results with titles, categories, local dates and times, venue details, and ticket links. It supports both REST and MCP, so you can plug it straight into Claude and other agent workflows. Pricing starts free at 1,000 calls a month, with pay-as-you-go at $5 per 1,000 calls, and you can try it without a key for 50 queries a day.
Ask in plain words—the way you'd ask a friend.

This feels hard to maintain and keep up-to-date, but I would definitely use it! Great idea.

Solving this issue a core problem for humanity, and it goes hand in hand with the need for a public service.
I'm actually working to do this at ultra low cost as a public service like Wikipedia or musicbrainz.
I'll be publishing global costs to serve and letting people donate to support.
