Internet Archive Rescues Geocities' Animated GIFs with GifCities
GifCities is a search engine from Internet Archive that lets you explore the animated GIFs once plastered across Geocities. Search for snowglobes, butterflies, or sparkles and rediscover the web's kitschy past. The project supports the Archive's mission of Universal Access to All Knowledge, and donations help keep it alive.
GifCities is a special project of Internet Archive, a non-profit digital library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more.
