Folders: The Programming Language Where Empty Directories Are Code and Storage Is Infinite

Daniel Temkin's Folders is an esoteric language where code lives in the containment and order of directories, with folder names ignored except for alphabetical sorting. Inspired by Whitespace, it turns empty folders into commands and data, and on Windows, where folders consume zero disk space, it offers infinite storage. A spec, emulator, and GitHub compiler are available.

The empty folder is clutter, an appendage with no purpose. In git, it is ignored entirely.
