E Ink Launches Latest Version of Color EPaper Platform, E Ink Kaleido 4

E Ink has unveiled Kaleido 4, its latest color ePaper platform, debuting in Hanvon Technology's M10C II smart notebook. The new generation doubles color gamut volume to over 40K, boosts white reflectance by 15%, and improves contrast by 50%. With a new oxide TFT backplane and algorithms, it enables video playback at up to 18 FPS and 27% faster page turns. The M10C II also features a battery-free pen with 8,192 pressure levels and AI-powered office apps, pushing color ePaper into productivity scenarios.
