Intel's new D270 data center GPU targets the agentic AI era, where agents read far more than they write. It offers up to 480 GB of LPDDR5X memory per card, 32 Xe3P cores, and 256 XMX matrix engines, all in a 350W air-cooled PCIe 5.0 form factor. By avoiding HBM and liquid cooling, it aims to maximize tokens per rack and watt for long-context, high-concurrency inference.
