MusicBrainz Picard 3.0 arrives with a rewritten plugin system and Qt6 upgrade
Picard 3.0 Released
MusicBrainz Picard 3.0 is out, bringing a Qt6 upgrade for better dark mode and screen scaling, plus a completely new plugin system with a defined API, trust levels, and a central registry. Other highlights include cover art processing, custom columns, a setup wizard, session save/restore, and synced lyrics support. Note: v2 plugins are incompatible and need migration.
Apart from the Qt6 migration the new plugin system is the most significant change in Picard 3.
