A browser-native classic Visual Basic VB6 IDE

Project1 is a browser-native recreation of the classic Visual Basic 6 IDE. It includes a toolbox, a project explorer showing forms and modules, and a properties window for editing control attributes. The form layout view mirrors the original drag-and-drop designer, letting developers work with VB6 projects directly in the browser without installing the legacy IDE.

Best part of VB5 was that when you hit F1, you instantly got help for whatever was under the cursor. VB6 changed it to use some much slower MSDN help system instead.

  2. Kuyawa

Oooh beautiful! Visual Foxpro was the same, only the language changed but their screen designers were almost identical

  3. sijmen

Slick! Thanks for bringing back some memories of how i got into programming; by automating math-homework in visual basic.

This takes me back! Right clicking works too, this is awesome. I miss property tables, that was a nice UX. Flash had it too.
