Google's Gboard Conveyor Belt Version puts a physical keyboard on a moving loop
Google's mozc-devices repo now hosts design files and firmware for a Gboard Conveyor Belt Version, released October 1, 2026. The directory includes KiCad schematics and PCB layouts, firmware source, and 3D-printable STL files for the case and mechanisms, plus a build guide. It is not an official Google product. The README also points to the standard Gboard for those who prefer typing with their hands.
For those who are accustomed to moving their hands for text input, we also offer the standard version of Gboard.
